If you want to get close to the MBP screen's sharpness, then you'll want either a 27' 5K or a 24' 4K. The U2720Q is a great monitor and I would always pick Dell over LG. I would like to get 4K at 60Hz through USB-C, so that I can use the Monitor-MacBook as a 'one-cable-setup'.
